But I'm done screwing with it so it was BNR or Turblown and I chose Turblown. So we shall see how it goes Live and learn.
You run a higher oil pressure than stock right ? ..........................

Yeah, that is why I added the restrictor, thinking it was getting too much pressure but then I read some more. I have read up on ways to regulate the pressure the turbo sees but honestly the engine has not really been revved much past 5k so the pressure does get higher than what a stock Renny would see. So I'm not sure it is an issue since there was no change with or without the restricter.

Given that the turbo seals have blown - i suggest you do that and compare it to the flow you see in 'mad dog's ' video in the restrictor thread.

you should put it back together NA so you can at least break the engine in. If not, we'll all have to wait another 9 months for you to break it and and get it tuned.

Yeah the engine is broke in, I have about 800 miles on it. As soon as I get it back from Turblown it will get installed and tuning will resume

I am definitely cutting that heat shield and hitting the frame with a BFH to make getting the DP bolted up easier.

I think I had the shortest build. It went so fast I did not bother with a build thread. 45 days total?

Yeah I was lucky. I bought a used kit that had most of the upgrades done. Plus I knew MM was coming to town for a tuning session so everything just fell into place.

Definitely looks like the Oil Drain line, looks like a -10an fitting.

Was the CHRA clocked like this when installed????

Yea my kit came with broken everything, and nothing fixed. the only thing I haven't changed or upgraded is the piping, manifold and downpipe.

Yep this was the only way we could fit all the lines... also why he was running a scavenge pump. I'm 80% sure that whole setup was the reason why he had the oil issues. the seals looked good minus the turbine oil seal which was misshaped

I'm trying to remember the exact position but isn't that like a 45 degree angle upwards back towards the LIM? Even running a scavenge pump I would think you would have issues. An oil drain facing upwards like that makes no sense to me, I understand why he had to do it, but that's definitely why he had oil leaking back into the turbo.

Why couldn't the CHRA be clocked 180 degrees so the drain was at least angled downward? Was the larger -10 an fitting hitting the manifold?
