I use to run it at turbo outlet and at UIM (before my boost gauge took a crap). it's often useful in testing for leaks and pressure losses.
agreed - easy to find the limit of your system this way as well . As boost climbs the differential climbs - at some point (somewhere around 330g/s on my setup) it really starts to make a big difference . That's when you know that the system is maxing out .
Also good for seeing part throttle issues and if your BC is influencing throttle response .

That is how I did it.

Really up to you, though. You can just Tee off the signal at the UIM for both and use it as a check/double check. It's nice to have one at the turbo for me because I did lots of testing with it and my boost controller. Helps to see if you have boosting problems and if its because of the wastegate actuator.

Yeah I have not decided whether to do the piping yet or not. Did you guys just use a universal turbo blanket or something specific to the Greddy?

So Greddy won't sell the gaskets for the kit I have to get it from a dealer. I bet the markup is going to suck.

Compressor/turbine inlet/outlet mainly but I'd like to replace them all if I can.

They don't include these with the cost of the rebuild? I would assume they would include them, due to them needing to be replaced if you take the thing off.

You can make most of those gaskets yourself . Except for the turbine outlet one . If that one looks ok just reuse it .

True. But my experience creating gaskets sucks. I recreated the gasket for my SOHN adapter and it came out perfect, it looked exactly like the one that came with it (that I broke) yet it still leaked. Richard sent me a new one and the leak has been gone since. I think even though the gasket material for for oil/gas it still sucked. But in the compressor inlet/outlet red RTV would work I guess.

This is what you need:

This gasket works for the outlet pipe with a small amount of trimming

I'm willing to bet they cut that section off because how tight of a fit it is to squeeze on the TB..which doesnt really make it any easier..should still work fine

You think it will? I also forgot but my BHR spacer will probably affect the fitment as well so I may have to ditch the nitrous

I read in another thread the spacer doesn't fit with the intake. Sorry man no extra juice for you!
