9krpmrx8's Boost Build Thread
Did you have a dyno in mind? I've been hoping to see a local dyno day come together sometime, but I would limit the options for which dyno to use lol.

Yeah Fuel Injection specialties here that is cleaning the injectors has a dyno and the dyno time is cheap and they do a bunch of high end Vettes and Vipers that run the Texas mile so he told me they have the dyno calibrated yearly. I'm not sure if it is an AWD dyno but I will call and check tomorrow.

I would definitely do another build thread that starts off showing pictures of parts, install progress and the finished product. Then you just put a link to this thread at the end and tell people they can get any information on the build here! It's not your problem if they don't feel like read everything to figure out what you actually did...
Dont start a new thread, this documents everything you have been through to get to this point finally. See if a mod can add a few posts in the beginning and post install pics there.

Believe me it will. The turbo will be done today and shipped out and then I've only got a few minor things to get and I'm good to go.I would definitely do another build thread that starts off showing pictures of parts, install progress and the finished product. Yeah I may just make a welcome back my baby thread.

My timeline is to finish this build as soon as my turbo gets here. I am going to try and do as much as possible this long weekend by getting the accesories put back on the engine, piping, intercooler, gauges, etc.
Yeah I may just make a welcome back my baby thread.

Let me know if you want a hand, I am just cleaning my garage in preperation for what is about to begin. I did just get a BNR upgrade kit from a kid in Cali along with some other stuff at a total steal (THANK YOU HOSS...assuming all is delivered as planned)...and oh look UPS just dropped off my midpipe.

Man, I hope that guy is legit.
Ditto, he sounded like a kid hard up for money he was trying to get cash to put down on a rx7. I got all his info and went through paypal for a little extra comfort....we will see. The price I offered was worth the gamble because it is way more than just a turbo (some stuff I will sell to recoup some $)

Not yet, Rob had to fly to Hawaii to deliver and tune a motor for a drag car so hopefully I will have something by next week.
Funny story,
It's kind of weird how small of a world it is actually, Rob and I actually grew up in the same area in Kahaluu, Hawaii, he is just quite a bit older than me. we shared some pretty interesting stories about being white kids growing up in Hawaii
