whatever you do, keep it out of the bottom of the canyon ... or rather, don't take the direct way down

Nah, my 82' 280ZX turbo sealed the deal for me. I owned a Z28 due to pressure form my dad and I hated that car and so after that I never owned another domestic. When I do buy American it will be a tow vehicle.

mine was a 57 chev convertible and shortly afterward a 55 two door hardtop ( not sedan) and I dropped a 396 big block with a muchie trans/hurst shifter and a 4:11 posi trac rear end--jardine headers and a custom tune. I was a bad *** 18 yr old-LOL. It also had vacuum assisted windshield wipers and 4 wheel drum brakes !! Those were the days. I sold it for $500 2 mos before I had to go to vietnam. Sigh....

Man, I bet you wish you had that car now. I grew up around muscle cars, my dad had a 64' Impala SS before going into the Marines in 69' and then when he came back in the early 70's he bought a 69' Mustang, then he had a Le Mans GT, a Fire Bird Formula 400, a 69' Vett, and a Corvaire. For bit he was also into MG's. It wasn't until the late 80's that he got on his truck/Jeep kick and never owned a real muscle car again.

I'd like to do a muscle car project with him in the next few years, maybe a 70's Firebird or Trans Am.

Oddly enough when I was in middle school the 3000gt was my dream car high school was the mustang.

Somehow I ended up with a 1996 celica :/

Tell your Dad that I have ran the MGA MK II and MGB-GT and I too had a 69 vette ( before emissions ruined everything)
The MGA was a really fun car it didnt have door handles. Just a cable inside the door you pulled.
Yea-- I do wish I had kept some of the cars I have had.
I will never sell my 8--i dont think.....

I doubt I will ever sell mine unless I total it or something.

I mean look at that face, how could I ever sell her.

I hung with one at only 6psi. Now at 10psi I think I could take one. They can be beasts but the interior is horrible in my opinion.
