Still no phone call
to be totally fair here the whole argument about those in charge(IB) dealing or not with every problem seller/vendor etc we have here is a bit ridiculus. they arent in a position to do anything unless there is VERY substantial evidence... aka legal stuff..

And you are a bit correct and incorrect. Esmiril CAN physically produce an explanation as to why they feel the need to be secretive about their components. but the WONT do it. the only logical answer as to why, is shady business.

see my sig for a clear logical analysis of the situation.

Someone prove me wrong....

Someone should prove something. Whether its prove you wrong or prove you right. If someone disects their product and shows legitimate faulty workmanship, that would be something that warrants attention to be sure.

All I can say is I'm running their kit, and nothing screwed up thus far. I'll of course keep everyone posted on any developments. So far I am a happy camper. I still need to tweak some stuff, but I'm gonna wait till the weather is nicer.

very well put. one of the few truly objective statements i've seen here in a long time.

my own opinion is obviously biased and that is the position i choose to take in this topic. but yours is spot on.

Yeah, its always bugged me, I've seen a lot of people mispell that but I figured it'd be silly to bring it up. It's especially vexing when a thread title has it mispelled, cuz then I'd have to search for mispellings to find threads pertaining to Esmeril.

Just a short teaser video on the street.

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/E...RX8_210037.htm

We'll have a dyno video coming soon(414whp) as well as some even more impressive stuff I've been working on that will take the Renesis to new heights.

Best regards,

Chris

Like what? Posting a 414whp video in my 414whp thread? It sounds like its pretty much down the same alley to me.

The fact that I desist from arguing in public about word of mouth issues isn't going to affect the original purpose of this thread and how I will keep handling it.

We(Esmeril) know exactly what happened, when it happened and to whom as well as what actions we took and what options where offered. In the past we have dealt very favorably with many other customers that are still very happy with both our customer service and the parts we sell on and off this forum with no complaints so far with many kits on the road(many are DD's) and more than a year since its original release. We are not going to let a disgruntled individual that did not buy anything from us and therefore is not one of our customers(even then we were willing to help, just not unreasonably) ruin that regardless of the support they might get from others that don't like us as well. After that, based on our judgment it required no further attention from us so I am continuing to post on my thread about the original subject and I apologize if that's upsetting to some.

We do not cheat anyone, we didn't make a single late shipment in over a year of production, we met our performance goals for the kit, we didn't make people wait months for their parts or keep their money not shipping anything or any other issues unlike other vendors that have come and gone on this forum. We show pictures of what we sell, we spell out the specs of each component on our website and the customer receives exactly what's in the picture at the time of ordering and if any of it doesn't work we replace it. If they don't want it then they don't need to buy it but we are not fooling anyone on anything, everything we have said has been exactly what we have said so keep this in mind.

Best regards,

Chris

hmm, the question was about the secretive nature of the parts Esmeril uses and a request for some explanation as to why it's so secretive?

Ya know, it's okay if they come out tell us they source their kits from $500 ebay auctions. We'll understand, really

hmm, the parts work. If you need proof look at the video and dyno chart.

Its actually pretty simple, If you want that you buy our kit and ignition.

As a manufacturer we are allowed to keep the source of our components to ourselves, regardless of how much speculation there may be about where they come from which is completely inaccurate but we have desisted to argue anymore. And if anyone has an issues with this they can choose not to buy the kit, we have not forced a single customer to purchase our kit.

Best regards,

Chris

I bought stuff from you guys. I was cheated. I ordered a new Interceptor-x and you guys sent me a used one. I told Jason at mazdaparts about the injector failing and you guys wont return any of my phone calls. Call me Chris. Jason has my number or PM me, I'll give it to you.

That Video doesn't prove anything. I have 350 to the wheels and I get wheel spin in 3rd gear too. Lets see a video of the car on a dyno with the camera showing the computer screen. And your claim of "out of the box" pphht. Shipping for over a year and I dont see any of your customers claiming over 400whp.

If Esmeril was saying their turbos were Garret and they really aren't, then I'd jump in too. However, as it stands, they're saying we offer you this kit, with no name components (or hidden name components, however you want to call it). So I can't fault them. If the kit isn't attractive, move on. If you don't like the components, you can always replace them with something else (bumping up the price point).

Like I said, as long as the buyer is told what they're getting.

hmm,

First off, I'd like to say that I don't sell Interceptor-X's, we make the kits and program the Int-X's for our customers. I spoke to Jason about this and from what I understand Jason never told you it was brand new because he offers the cost effective option of sourcing used ones for people if they so desire and he priced it accordingly otherwise it would've been 1500.00 plus shipping and not what you paid.

Second, in the post with the video link I clearly stated that a video of the dyno will be posted soon, reason being at the time of the video editing I didn't have the video file downloaded to my computer from the dyno run. There you will see the car do the run on the roller and if I am not mistaken you will see the dyno computer screen in the same clip.

Also, not everyone that buys our kit want's to push it to the max. And yes, out of the box, same everything as comes in the kit.

You can pm me your number and I will call you although at this point I would rather you email me through our website www.esmerilracing.com.

Well said. So long as you're willing to fully stand behind what you sell and provide reasonable customer service, there's zero fault that can be assessed.

Thanks for the video btw. It's hard to fault horsepower, regardless of where the ponies were born.

you never had much of an arguement about it in the first place. an argument would mean you said "these are the components" and someone else placed a rebuttal, you in turn deny etc etc
You simply refused to ever say anything

both very correct, the issue lies in this: IF, i repeat IF, there are substandard parts being used, how many people will fork over how much moeny before some time passes and things start splitting at the seams? and the BIG question then is, would they stand behind the product? Hard to think that a company would have the ethics to stand behind something if they were intentionally selling substandard parts in the first place....?

Well, lets see... Turbo cars can get about 25%-30% more power out of E85.

414 x 1.25 = 517WHP!

Now lets see it in real life!!!

Wait, really? I thought it makes less power? Or was that hydrogen...
