I never said nor claimed anything to do with a Renesis- again I was making a simple apple to apple comparison of a compressor flow map, flow vs pressure ratio. That's it. I never claimed it was for a Renesis or any other motor.

I obviously misinterpreted the point you were trying to make . In the context of the general disscussion I assumed you were talking about the renesis flowing more just because the turbo was bigger . Sorry about that .

I agree...we are are hearing or reading what we want to read and not putting in the though of everyone's points are true...but some are bigger points then others.

But I remember like a page or two back someone saying his power was down on the low end cause of the aux ports being open all the time...and I don't know why I didn't think about this..but before I took my car to pettit to have him rebuild my engine my car didn't even have the aux tubes!!! lol. They was removed completely when I installed the turbo lol. So unless cam put them back in I don't have them period.

All in all temp is most likely the first thing you have to have under control. After that it would be timing...then fuel map. correct?

Cause if you don't have the temps down your not going to be able to boost at any decent pressure. But if your timing isn't right your going to end up not making power like you should or blowing the engine. Then last as long as your not running lean fuel.

Ya know with all the discussion on his boost and high power...why isn't anyone asking about his timing maps? We all know you can push some good power if your map is right. But just wondering since he's running E85 isn't his timing going to be even more advanced then others?

They don't make sense to you because you didn't even try to understand them . You obviously only only have eyes for MM so I'll stop trying to argue with you ....

I know a guy that has a FD TT and only one turbo works so he has low end tq but out of that he is NAI'm not joking

just read a little of the last posts on pressure/power/flow/***** and drinking.
Does this also relate to what i has always though--we need a better exhaust port?

Yup - past a certain power level we will have issues.

Everything we put into the engine we gotta get out of it; so static volume will ultimately become an issue.... at what power level I am not sure.

I bet RG could put one on a flowbench

Personally, I am also curious to find out how the lighter(and slightly weaker?) renesis rotors are holding up to the detonation events at those power levels...

Lol, news to me, thought the rotors were stronger in the renny..

Either way, it's not the rotors that are failing in FI apps..
