233 WHP Greddy Turbo Dyno
#26
I am going to give him a call and try to book an appointment sometime next week.
After I got that clamp tight and did some tweaking to the vacuum lines, the car feels like it pulls alot stronger then before. I will also end the dyno run at 8000rpm instead of 6800rpm. I should also add, that the car accelerates alot smoother then before and boost guage reading is very consistent now.
But for some strange reason, 1/2 gas feels just as strong as WOT? Is this becasue the turbo is too small??

turbonetics spotted us a bunch of crap (t-bolts, sillycone couplers, etc) to use on the jasper supra so they could put their sticker on the car...worst crap i've ever seen--besides the stock greedy stuff. that **** was nothing but problems! i switched everything over to HTS and no more problems, ever.

Wow. Really? Maybe they switched sources. The stuff I got from them is top-notch.
Maybe that is why they gave it to you for free.
The silicone I got from them for my setup is dual-layer fiber and high-temp flurosilicone.
After two years under the hood, it still looks new and has all of its original flexability.
The aforementioned clamps could break bones.

dunno why they'd give rejects to a car they were sponsoring. you'd THINK they'd want the car to do well. oh well, that whole setup was retarded anyway. if i had it my way, i'd do things a lot differently, but almost everything was sponsored, so we were stuck using shitty parts.
