want to change out radio and dash

Hey i am looking at change out the radio and i figure that i need to change the dash cause it looks like the cd player is apart of it.... so what do i need to do to change it out...are there any after market mods i can buy that will fit the ac...and heat buttons and the screen that show the temp outside .....but have a open space to put in a new cd player.....

well here is my next question i belive the rx8 has 9 speakers(if not how many does it have i do have the upgrade boss speaker system in my car).... now is there a cd player that will have 9 hook ups for that....... pluse i think i want to throw in a double din car stereo...are there any that will suport 9 speaker...and also i want to hook up my amp for my subs woofers... would anybody know of a good double din car steroid that will support all this?

Yeah you can do that. Click this link.......

http://www.crutchfield.com/m_750/Car...on.html?tp=457

Once you are at that page, click "Factory System Adapters". It will ask you exactly what kind of car you have, so just put in all of the info that it asks for.... Once you put in your car type it will take you to a page of adapters that are made specifically to fit our cars. Installing an adapter will make it where your dash has the right size spot to fit an aftermarket head unit. All of the adapters they have are made not to interfere with the a/c and all that stuff, so you don't have to worry about it messing up that... As for your question about wiring and speakers, amps, subwoofers etc, yeah you can get all that stuff wired in properly... Once you get the adapter and a head unit you like, just take all of it to any good car audio place and they should be able put it all in properly for you no problem.

The Metra kit 95-7510HG and your choice of Pioneer double din is all you need. It's all in the link and I gave. All that and more.

I'm gonna go ahead and be the 3rd person on here to recommend Pioneer ha... They make some great looking high quality head units... Most of them are pretty easy to use too (unlike some brands), which I always liked since having to navigate through a maze of screens to do something as simple change the bass level isn't too easy to do while driving haha

Alright so I also am new to the dvd/nav market, so my quick question would be if I were to use a metra kit and any Head unit it will work? Because I have been looking around and whenever I check to see if a head unit will work for our cars it always says that it will not fit. I have not asked any pro installer yet but I figured I could get a quick answer here. Thanks.
