Question HELP...Trouble Shooting Amp/Radio

Yesterday while I was driving, listening to radio (NOT LOUD) i heard a pop and then no sound. My radio is still lit-up, blue tooth is still hooked-up and navigation still shows me moving but NO SOUND. Thought maybe i blew a fuse so I replaced fuse and still no sound. My instinct says AMP since there is no sound but dealership wants 180.00 an hour to diagnois electrical issue. ANY SUGGESTIONS for me to look into before i waste tons of money????

Need more info. What year and trim is your RX8? Do you have an OEM unit and which unit, or do you have an aftermarket unit and what unit?

Bose have separate amps for the speakers.
I guess it went into protection mode due to a short somewhere.
