Looking at the e-brake lever again a bit more closely, I'm not so sure anymore if a boot is a good idea... there is really hardly any space in that area and the boot may cause a snag or would be rubbed all the time by the movement of the lever.
On the other hand, there was a photo in the previous (deleted) thread that showed a boot and the handle cover, and it seemed as if this wasn't an issue. So I'm kind of torn...
However the handle cover would certainly look great!

no i dont think a "boot" is a good idea but definitely the handle cover...
has anyone succussfully taken off just the ugly handle and replaced with one such as the autoexe? That one is really nice :D If you could get an aftermarket handle swapped in then a boot would be great, but not universal i suppose

I ordered a console cover not too long ago from eBay. Was following this thread, and thought to myself, dang I should've waited. Just realized got them from Shift style via eBay.

clear your inbox shiftstyle! :P
Ill send you these door panels if you wanna expiriment. The ones in the picture are cloth panels (felt like material) and i have some panels that are black leather as well. whichever ones you want is ok... or both types. Just hit me up when your done with the ebrake :D
Just imagine how close you are to an entire interior set... got the console covers, shift boot, soon ebrake, maybe steering wheel, door panels. All your lacking is maybe the Passthrough box and the seats... oh and CUSTOM FLOORMATS :D

Here is my latest install boot and front console cover, (rear console cover tomorrow): Hidden stitches
I used 3M adhesive 77 for the front console cover.
rztom the suggestion of having the leather to vinyl seam flap placed under the console is a great point.
I did not utilize staples but I am happy with the results.
On the shift boot I suggest trimming the areas around the rear clips and the sides so it does not catch when reinstalling the panel on the car.

V1 Remote Display in shift panel
That is a V1 concealed display. I still have to create a trim moulding piece around it. (Unfinished, raw project) As you know I was planning on installing it into the rearview mirror. The downside is I would have to reach up to the mirror to mute the alert.
I used a Dremel to cut the hole for it and secured it with hot glue (so it does not damage the concealed display that way I could use it somewhere else if wanted at a later time). I have my V1 above the rearview mirror. If I drop the sunglasses holder down the detector is totally concealed in case I was to get pulled over for something other than pushing the limit on speed. If I change my mind I have a couple of extra consoles to source my parts or replace to stock. (It is legal to have a detector in my state but a person receives less warnings if seen with detecting hardware).
So far I have been happy with placement of the remote display. I can easily hide it with my arm and it does not bother other passenger's in the car. The display turns the lights off on the detector as well so it does not bring attention to it.
On a side note I really like the ShiftStyle boot and console covers. It is some work to get them fitted to a person's liking but once installed it should not require any adjustment.
The hidden stitches are the look I was looking for.

Installation is pretty easy. Nothing that requires more than yourself and a little patience.
Thanks

Wow just took a look at the website and the shift boots look great. All my money is going towards my audio system right now but ill try and convince my chick to get me one. Yes I know...I sound cheap. But I want one really bad.
Going to try the Black/Charcoal two tone with quad stitching. Wonder if I can get other things stiched into it. Such as a Mazda logo. With RX8 under it. And the words shift style on the bottom corner. Too much? What do you guys think?
vvvv---something like that (diff font of course)
