There is no way that the current ShiftStyle armrest cover would fit the Zeta armrest pad. The Zeta pad is too thick (I have it too, so I should know).
What I'm planning to do is to use some thin foam padding under the ShiftStyle cover and see if I can make the lid feel softer that way. Still, it may not fit seeing that the leather has to be quite snug to look good. Unless, of course, it would be designed to look sort of "ruffled", but I don't think that'd look very good. At least those installed pics where the leather was not tight looked rather bad IMO...

OK here is a thought...would shiftstyle be willing to make an alternate design for those of us who have the zeta arm rest?

Shift holla at me man....you know I stay having ideas...

How many people own the zeta arm rest pad?

How many would actually be interested in a skin for the arm rest pad?

Similar to the one now being sold for the oem lid arm rest pad?

Maybe we can rally up some support for them...I know I would be interested.

I dunno... actually, if I get the ShiftStyle covers, that'll be partially because I want to make them look better AND the same. Having the thicker pad would make the two lids look less uniform.
So I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'd probably rather get rid of the Zeta pad when buying the new covers. Although the Zeta pad is certainly more comfortable

We could always make a new pattern for the Zeta armrest. Is it only for the front lid, or rear as well?

I took my Zeta products arm rest off as well to install this and I am missing how comfortable it was before.

This weekend I was thinking about what to install under the leather in order to soften it up and lessen how pronounced the stitching material is.

My wifes Grand Prix GXP has cushioned leather arm rests and they are much more comfortable. That is what gave me the idea.

I was thinking about wrapping the Zeta arm rest as well Tamas but like you said it is obviously too big to fit inside the cover.

agreed....but dumb question doesn't the zeta arm rest cover fit the rear arm rest lid?

Either way...if we could get a skin developed to fit over the Zeta arm rest pad for the front that would be awesome then I would possibly be inclined to purchase a regular one for the rear so it looks unison.

The rear armrest is shorter than the front, so the Zeta pad won't fit.
You may be able to trim it to make it fit... especially since it'd be then covered by the ShiftStyle cover. Not sure how easy is it to make that look right though.

Yeah the rear arm rest is shorter and wider than the fron arm rest this is because it does not have to hinge sideways between the seats.

I can do it but not before next weekend because I'm away from home until then. So if there's no other volunteer, I can drop it into the mail on 5/31.

i always wanted an alcantara interior... black and a more darker red

so make the shifter boot, e-brake handle, steering wheel cover, accent panel for the doors, shifter **** cover, and seat covers
