Beklin Cradle

going the aux is the best route mentioned above. I when a different road for the time being with the Beklin Cradle. Cost me around 60-70 bucks its simple and works well. it also has channel presets and channel scanning that helps avoid the static interference which works well and is able to move ^v<> the AUX cable is definitely the way to go but, this is fast and easy.

I too would love to find out how to do this to an '04 without dropping $200 for an integration kit (I believe that's what it's called and what's it's price is)

Plus I don't like the radio connects (Belkin, etc.), I would rather just be able to play it through my stereo than through my radio if you guys know what I mean...

suggestions/help?

Thats what im trying to find out if The 8 has the same outputs on tha back of the stock radio so I can then go ahead and take the faceplate out and connect the same cable. But I hear the the 04's dont have an AUX in the front, unlucky for me..

No 8's have any type of universal input jack in the rear of the headunit. Please search. This question has been asked literally hundreds of times.

This is the type of cable I had, well sort off.. because the red and white connected to the back of the radio, and the other end would connect to my ipod... here is the link

Ahhh, screw firebirddude, he's always stuck up from the posts I've seen.

Still, I would like to know more about this topic as well...I'm searching and I can't find exactly what I'm looking for...so I would just like more info as you would probably too.

I'm glad you know me so well from the couple months you've been a member. But I'll be the first to admit I'm a complete ******* a lot of the time. That certainly doesn't mean I don't consistently crank out quality answers for fellow 8 owners.

On that note, here's the last gift I give to you. Hopefully you don't need any Interior, Audio, and Electronics help in the future, because it's not coming from me.

The best way to 'help' someone on the forums is to post the Correct answer, or refer him to threads that post the correct answer. Or, stay silent. Personal attacks on a fellow member don't help - and practically guarantee that this thread will be locked/removed.

Firebirdude was correct: This same question has indeed been gone through several hundred times, and has been answered definatively, as far as iPod 'Classics'.

No, you can't just plug-in an ipod to a stock '03 to '08 stereo.

There are several solutions - from soldering connections to the CD player and playing a blank CD; to the Mazda iPod adaper; to at least two aftermarket providers.

Now, I know all this stuff, but didn't respond because my iPod isn't a 'touch'. There are also threads about touches and i'phones not working properly with aftermarket connections. Search is your friend.
