Over the past month, my center display (ala CD track, volume, amb temp, etc) has glitched a couple of times. First time I was stopped at a light, it went from normal to half the lights on including the fan speed display which from what I understand is not even active on US models. Once I got to my destination I turned the car off, waited a few seconds and then put it back into the ACC position at the key and all was normal again.

Second time it glitched it went almost completely dark on the display as soon as I started the car and then "fixed" itself midway to my destination where it was back to normal. The CD player, etc still operated fine during both glitches but the display was useless.

Happened to anyone else? Source of problem? Easy fix? Other pointers?

 

it's happened before and the fix has been replacing the display.

Well, thanks for the reply anyway. Fortunately it's not a big issue right now; it's only happened twice that I've noticed in the past four months.
