IL Installing a sub and amp, NEED HELP

I have a 2004 Rx8 non bose system. I just bought a JL w3 10" and a JL 250.1 amp.
Is there a do it yourself on an amp install on the stock NON bose single cd changer headunit? I've been looking forever and cant find it if there is.
I need to know the best way to run the power wire through the car and how to take off the stock headunit.
Also, do I need any kind of adapter to the back of the headunit or does it have RCA inputs? and when I take off the stock head unit (once i fugure out how or someone tells me) which wire in the harness is the remote wire?

Thanks again for youre guys' help!!
~Danny

There is no need to remove the stock headunit. Bose or not. I have only seen ONE factory headunit that has RCA outputs in my entire life. And I use to install for a living. (It even looked aftermarket, made by rockford fosgate. New Tiburon's?)

Anyway, a simple line output converter can be tapped off the rear speakers. There is a walkthrough on how to run the power wire in a sticky at the top of this forum. In short, you can run in down the passenger side if you remove the washer fluid bottle and drill a hole. (I chose this route. Shorter. Easier.) Or you can run it over to the driver's side and through an existing grommet.
