Question Gauge Cluster

I remember seeing a nice looking gauge cluster on the internet somewhere but now I can't remember what site it was. It replaces the bottom tray directly in front of the shifter. Does anyone know of the cluster i'm talking about? and if so, do you remember what site it was on?

Thanks

It's the R Magic gauge pod. I had one on order from Mazdaparts.com, but it comes from Japan & it took like 8 weeks, before they even start the project after you order (it "handmade"). Even after that they wanted me to send my gauges back there so that they could make the holes properly. That was total BS. They were trying to sell their gauges with their pod. Needless to say we cancelled & both Matt (Thew) & I were very upset they wasted our time. he has since removed it from his site. I wound up getting the PTP unit (3 gauges on the top, replacing the middle dash piece) that Philodox has showed.

If anyone has said part: "R Magic gauge pod"
I can make a casting from it in polyurethane resin.
Sins we manufacture small scale models, I know something about
the process. (Use 55 gallon of RTV a month and 220 gallon of resin)
Looks like I will need about 3 pounds of RTV and can make about 30 castings with no
Quality loss in black resin.
Price would be a lot cheaper than said part from Japan.
As said I need the part to cast it and no damage would be done on the part.
(You even get it back) + A casting...

Thanks

If you really want to do it, buy an RX-8 ashtray and then order the guage pod from RMagic. Let them work their wonders... if guages are needed... won't you need them too to finish/perfect your copy of it?

At this point in time I don't need gauges....
(Use the ashtray for my "habit")
From what I have seen on the pod, it doesn’t look like I would need the ashtray to
Cast the part.
Part with gauges would be mounted on the original ashtray part - the cover can be removed from the OEM part....
As said I love to play with RTV and resin, it's my job.
And help out members here that would like the part but not the price....
