Best Ipod Adapter?

So I'm thinking about getting an Ipod adapter for my 04 RX8. With plenty to choose from, I was wondering if any of you guys had any suggestions for ones to purchase or avoid?

Thanks!

I personally have the XCarLink, never had any issues and it was rather easy to install. Works great with my iPhone4, can control it with the iPhone, or dash & steering wheel controls.
I made an album with installation pictures, check it out:

God I hate that question

Best in what way?

The OEM adapter I have in the 8 is very reliable in every sense but locks the screen and does not charge my iPd touch
The NEO I have on the Jetta is flaky as hell but lets you use the screen and charges my iPod touch

I have a fix for your charging prob...needed this when I went from an ancient nano to an iPhone 4 (OEM adapter).

Although I like the XCarLink, I personally installed a standard 3.5 mm input and concealed it pretty well in my opinion. I wired it as done in the cd hack aux input thread but rather than having the cable end free about the car I used a coupler to give me an standard jack. I drive with friends a lot and whether they have an Ipod, Zune, or cheap mp3 player, they all work fine.

Here's the DIY thread: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-do-yourself-forum-73/diy-radio-removal-add-aux-input-36001/

Here is what I did different. (Sorry the lighting was quite good enough for phone camera.)
