Never Mind I see what your are talking about
The instructions says it should be with the original information display unit in your dash when you remove your stock radio.
I would Check your stock radio or in the dash for it.

Here is a link to the page from the instruction that came with the dash kit.

yeah, I think I paid between 750-800 shipped for mine... Btw.. just an FYI... The bluetooth modules do not work with the Treo 750. Just bought the phone and found that out the hard way... You can play bluetooth audio, but now phone features. They are working for an update to correct that...

Oh, and the heater issues. Corksport is suppose to receive the harnesses on the 28th. So we should be seeing them shortly there after....

On Thursday Corksport told me the heater issue is fixed. New orders WILL have the full harness package, while previous purchasers are getting them ASAP.

How good does the blue-tooth modules work with the Avic-D3 can you get some screen shots of the deck while useing the blue-tooth. is the phone function easy to use does the phone connect well with the unit.

When I went to get my Pioneer Avic-D3 everyone locally was back ordered so I ended up buying a Alpine IVA-W05 and got the Alpine BT300 but am not to happy with the Alpine BT300 as people i am talking to say they can here an echo when they talk. I have the mic located above the rear view mirror so its not close to my speakers.

Might just sell my Alpine IVA-W205 and buy a Pioneer Avic-D3.

Thanks

Sorry to be the person to bring you the bad news, but short answer is no.

The reason its so expensive is that, because the HVAC controls are build into the HeadUnit. Its not complex stuff but most people dont want to do it. (Myself included)

Corksport kit actually came from Japan, what they did was they translate the whole manual into english, thats about it.

Either you get the kit, or you can find a good shop who can custom do everything for you, but let me tell you it will cost you about 2 times the money of the Corksport kit.

ALL USA-Spec Rx-8 has NO automatic Climate controls. The Euro and Japan spec does.

Anyone tried installing a AVIC-Z2 yet? I am thinking of getting that with the corksport kit. The HDD and the Voice Recognition sounds like a cool thing to have.
