Just got a few more pics of my box, which is almost finished. Just need to get the silver cover

Took out the middle of the back seat, cut a whole in it, fiberglassed a box around it and walla.

My roommate used to work for a custom audio place, so he did the work while i reap the benefits lol

One of the best pass-through installs I've seen. Very nicely done.

i am not exactly sure what you mean by converter. i just have the double din high gloss metra kit. for line level outputs, i just split open a couple pairs of rca cables and wired them from the front and rear outs to the harness to the bose amp.

ah, gotcha. yeah, it is just the metra dd kit. they sell them at any major reseller of audio equipment. i bought mine from crutchfield. the metra kit isn't exactly cheap because of the climate control integration with the factory radio which needs to be replicated. there is quite a bit of information in the stickies about the audio equipment.

the woofer needs 2.2 ft^3 of ported air space, shamefully that was the only way I was going to get it out of the trunk. It was actually supposed to fall into the trunk depression but this works too. well worth the sacrifice IMO

Alpine IVA-B222.

It is unbelievable how sweet the 9-speaker BOSE system sounds after you install this. Everything from the midrange to the bass levels go through the roof without loss of clarity.
