i wired my rear speaker outs into the high level inputs of my amp and all is well. if you dont have high level inputs on your amp use the low level buy adding a LOC <- search the forum for more info on this

for some reason, when i search for stuff on here, im getting just lots of random **** that does not apply to what my question is at all lol. but im actually adding a sub, which means im going to have to hook the RCA Cables and radio wire directly to the head unit from the amp if im not mistaken...??? maybe its just been to long for me to remember what i did last time lol but im sure there is a thread on here about that.... to bad ill never find it lol

check your amp's input options. if it has high level you dont need rca inputs. if not, you can us a loc to convert high level to low level rca but you dont need to tap the hu.

I had a Jlw6 and an amp that I had in my truck and I bought a box from srq customs. I took that stuff and my car to Stereo West and said hook it up. They charged me $200.
I installed my whole system in my '04 Dodge Ram (head unit, 4 speakers+amp, sub+amp) but I had some extra $$ and just didn't feel like doing it this time. BTW I have the non bose system + my sub and amp and it suits me perfectly.

i found on ebay an add-a-amp kit which plugs into your harness and provides rca hook-ups, very simple with instructions of how to take the radio out
