that is why we posted the pics above...to help you make the decision that would work best for you....given the coloring you want on your vehicle...as well as keeping vehicle code issues in mind.

I don't know about you but several people get tickets every year for going in reverse without back up lights!
Damn a cop has to be a ***** and standing there when ya do it.
Of course if you get into and accident at Costco or some other parking lot.....
Good Luck getting reinbursed.

it goes on the outside...and yes, you WILL have bubbles regardless of how good/bad you are in using this product. You'll probably need to do a complete light first, then take off the film...and make a second attempt. The first attempt was rather bad. Second attempt was much better.

Thats not necessarily true about always having bubbles. The guys who installed mine actually sucked out the bubbles with a syringe with a very fine needle. They poke the needle directly into the bubble and sucked out the air/water under the film. Mine is bubble free since I had it professionaly done, but if you do it yourself you may get some bubbles.

Update: I've had about 6 people pm me, indicating interest in doing this project. I've asked them to post pics of their completed projects...but given that we don't see any new pics, I would assume that they gave up on the project. Would be nice to know if they tried and gave up, or if they just moved on to other projects.
It is a difficult project, and there are signage shops, even tint shops that would be willing to install the film for you....for those who just want the easy way (albeit, expensive way)...

I must admit that I gave up. That film is very hard to work with. Can't get around that brake light section bump, without creases. I tried to install it on a spare set, so obviously it's not on the car. I should try again with an additional set of hands. Any tips on which corner to start?

we started on the larger flat area opposite the big brake light bubble. Once you get this nice and taught, you can then use the soapy water and hair dryer to pull the material over the brake light bubble. The other hard sections are the edge where the brake light returns to the car, and the bend around the side of the car. These are definatley not CIVIC lights....
Any tint shops in your area that are willing to try? I wonder how much they charge?
Other advice would be to do the install, with the lights on your car...you can get more leverage this way. Having the lights in your lap makes it hard to pull the material tight enough.
