New LEDs. Wow! Bright!
No i know that. Like i get emails from them all the time about discounts. Im saying that when it was christmas time they had a code "hoLEDay" if i remember correctly and when i was checking out i entered the code but never got any discounnt when i paid
just put in my new 7w brake lights.. gawd dayum those are bright.
I was actually surprised they worked. vleds shipped them out on 1/24 and I just got them yesterday.. seems the post office lost and then found them. a month of bouncing around the usps supply chain did zero damage which speaks of the good packing job vleds does.

So after receiving the platinum bulbs I decided to try them in the turn signal location instead of the tail light, since this allows you to see them better when switched off. They look so fricken cool! The plastic lens that surrounds them makes them look more like an OEM piece than the bare circuit board look of the old bulbs. Unfortunately, right next to it is the reverse light and I can't have mismatched lights. So, I put in an order for platinum reverse and front signal bulbs!
I also added more LEDs to the engine bay. 48 inches of strip light under the lip at the rear of the engine bay. It looks really cool and is functional too.
As soon as I get the platinum bulbs in I'll be doing a full photo shoot as there are several updates (HID fogs, etc) that haven't been photo-documented yet. Watch for it.

Ordering all 6k light for the front later today and also some corner lights.
I do have one question though I may as well get the HID fogs since they are the same price as the LEDs right now right? I know the install takes longer but other than that the HID's are better all around correct?

LED fogs are for show, much dimmer than stock, but the right color.
HID fogs are many times more powerful than stock, and can also be 'the right color'.
Depends if you want to see or be seen......
(but most H11 HID capsules will touch the bulb shade inside the housing)

Well considering they are the same price I think ill go with the best option which seems like HIDs so I can now see and be seen.
Guess ill ask one more quick question I think its already been discussed but ill double check. HID fogs alone arent enough to drive with correct?

Here's some info on the new premium HID bulbs:
Basically these are identical to OEM bulbs; they have a higher quality glass, slightly different shape to it as well. They have this little “bulge” in them that helps with beam focus. The other major difference is they are not glued to their bases, rather they are held on by metal prongs, again just like OE bulbs. The colors are also more consistent.
