lm stands for lumens which is a measurement of brightness. I asked V-LEDs if they were going to create a foglight bulb using the .5 watt LEDs and they told me that they were working on one right now. It will have 68 LED (I don't know what the ratio of .5 watt to standard is) and will put out 500lm. The standard 68 LED bulb that they currently sell is 136lm. So the new one will be over 3.5 time brighter!

Okay... Now that I'm back in the correct thread lol:
Forgot to post some pics of my LED setup:
LEDs all around... Just have my sun visor bulbs to change out now and the whole car minus turn signals and low beams will be LED.
Crappy pics brought to you by a 5 year old cybershot lol. DSLR to come soon.

kainis2k, those look really good especially on your Metro Gray. Loving the puddle lights too, although they look a little weak, maybe they need a high power LED upgrade too!
You said you are getting moisture or condensation in the fogs though? That sucks. I had that problem with the first set of LED fogs I had long time ago (non-vleds), but that was when I initially removed the caps from inside. I took the housings out, washed them really good and then let them dry completely and that took care of it. Maybe there was moisture in there from sticking my fingers in.

I need some opinions for my light bulb upgrade.
For HID upgrade, I currently have this HID WHITE 6 LED LIGHT BULBS 194 as my parking light and Hoen Xenonmatch fog light. Will Philips 6000K HID match the color? I prefer Philips because of its reliability but I'm open of suggestion.
The fog light will soon be upgrade to Oznium LED strip or PIAA Deno series? Anyone have any experience on them?
For LED upgrade, I'm planning on upgrading my 3rd brake light to LEDs and I have read in this thread that DSC/ABS warning light will come on because of that, does anyone know the fix for that?
Any input will be much appreciated as I can't afford to do the test-n-trial step now because us$-to-cdn$ suck big time.

No experiance with Oznium or Deno, sorry.
You will only get a warning if you change out your taillights AND your third brake light. A single load resistor should fix this. If you are only going with an LED 3rd brake light and leaving the taillights then you should have no problem at all (I currently have just a LED 3rd brake light and I get no error).

I've changed just about every bulb in my car except for the High-beams. I rarely use them, didn't feel it was worth the effort.
if you have fog lights, change those out asap. www.hoen-usa.com ftw!

they are not that difficult to upgrade. ddmtuning.com sells kit that come with harnesses for a plug and play installation. I have one of their kit in my bike and they work amazing, never had any problems with the set up and they are fairly cheap as well... $90 for a set back when I bought them. I think they are cheaper now.
I really want to replace the parking lights to match the 6000 hids of the low beams.

Ordered some LEDs from V-LEDS last night - they already sent me notification this morning they shipped!
I managed to snag a pair of the 4x.5 forward lights for my parking lights, but they were still sold out of the corner lights. I bought these instead: V-LEDS HID WHITE 6 LED M-SMT.
Hopefully my corners arrive sometime this week (ordered last night from ICBMotorsport) and I can check out the corner lights to see how they look. I'll try to snag some pictures with these less powerful LEDs so people can compare.

hey question apex. is there diferent strengths on the leds. i bought the red parking lights and there arent bright. i was thinking id be getting some light of them like everyone else. you can see that there on but no light....id post pics but dont know how. haha

Yeah, there are standard LEDs and .5 watt LEDs that are really bright (about 10x brighter than standard). The ones that me and some of the others are using for parking lights use .5 watt LEDs. There are no 194s that use .5 watt LEDs, so your's are not going to be as bright.

They also have the Lumen rating on each product page. The higher the Lm the brighter the LED.

I've had several different LEDs in the front parking lights in both the RX8 and in my MX5 Miata (both running HIDs) and they don't seem to last due to overheating. How long have you had these latest parking light LEDs installed in yours? Most of mine seem to last only about 3 to 6 months before overheating and failing.

How I bought the same lights from v-leds, they look great but how did you get your fog lights to come on with the running lights with-out the low or high beams on?
