Hi Brett
Yes I do have one, as I bought one some years ago for a Sony stereo unit I have.
I'm happy to bring it down with me if you like, but I'm not sure when that will be.
If you would like it soon, then I can mail it down to you if you like.
Just let me what suits you.

I had a look at the keyspan product and it looks very similar to the one I have, but mine is a different brand, so you probably right, if yours didn't work, then mine probably won't make much difference.
Never mind.
Never mind.
What's your thought on that brettus? Does Epifan upgrade the descriptions as people find them?

You can upgrade the descriptions yourself .
Dunno if it is really worth it - unless you have some mates with 8s . Then it def. is because you can use it on multiple 8s.

Correct you cannot. Btw I found something the other day, just want to document it here. When you first fire up MazdaEdit's logger, you will notice that you have a subset of loggable pids. If you want to see ALL PIDs, you need to uncheck an option. I.e. I needed to log both MAFv and MAF Rate, and couldn't find MAF Rate until I did this.
Yes it does. You only have to copy data log config file with name logcfg.txt to SD root directory.
I attached you my locfg.txt that works really good.
This config file will generate one log file each time you start/stop the car, and you can open it on Mazda Edit -> File -> Open Log File option.

Also, any idea how to record MAF voltage rather than calculated g/s? That would actually be more convenient for tuning if we can figure it out.
Has anyone tried logging mode 22 pids with the openport?
Maybe try putting this entry in logcfg.txt:
I'm guessing a bit on the scaling.
Attached is an excel sheet with a list of them that may be correct in places.
Maybe try putting this entry in logcfg.txt:
Code:
paramname=MAF_Volts mode=0x22 paramid=0x1177 databits=16 scalingrpn=x,0.01,*

What are you using to get the injector duty cycle? I don't see it as an available parameter so I am wondering if I need to get it as a function of the injector timing and pulse width params.
