ANY positive PSI is a high load/heavy throttle activity. The only time you should safely be seeing numbers around 14 is in vacuum.

About your wastegate. It sounds like you tried to set your spring too loose for adjustability reasons with your manual controller. What is happening is the exhaust force is too strong for the weak spring you have installed. You need to use a stronger spring.

yeah, 14 afr doesn't sound normal for 5 psi, but that doesn't mean it did any damage.

looking at my video, as soon as the car leaves vacuum, the afrs drop down to 12 range.

I suspected that. Thanks for confirming.

Thanks. This makes sense. The rod is adjustable and I had to make a guess as to where to set the adjustment. Basically I set the rod to have minimum preload on the actuator. I can't change the spring per se, but I can adjust the preload. I will try increasing it.

Thanks,
Ken

the second O2 sensor only reads if the cat is working properly, so if your first 02 sensor is malfunctioned, then the car probably isnt reading the AFR's correctly, which would effect the PCM's ability to trim the fuel properly

It looks like the shop cut off your front O2 sensor when they did the turbo install. Untill you replace it you car will not run properly, the stft & ltft will not work properly, and you will not be able to use the AP because the PCM has no way to read the AFR.

i checked last night, the wire is connected on both ends.
it goes all the way up on top and connected to the plug before the engine and near the middle!
so i think my O2 sensor might have went bad!

do you have a midpipe? if you do the then that is why you get the malfunction code. if i were you, i would just take out both of the O2 sensors, and buy replacements. you want to make sure those are working properly. those are essential to have your car work properly

Plug the AccessPORT into the OBDII port on your car. Start the car. On the AccessPORT, got to LIVE DATA --> AFR. What value does it say?

No, it WOULD turn on the CEL *BECAUSE* you don't have a cat, it shows the cat is not working because it's reading the same fumes as the 1st one. That's the idea of the 2nd one, to let you know your cat is not holding the fumes like it should.

the you select the year, and type of induction on the website before you order. then jeff loads the correct maps onto the AP and you are ready. just need some fine tuning after a little while.

He's answering emails, what he was is banned but I believe he's back now. I got my tunes from Jeff and after I installed the CAI it worked, I just didn't have time to play with it to get my idle right. Got in trouble at work for playing with my car and not doing my job... Make sure you get a CAI or do it yourself, very easy to do, the AccessPORT is *LOADED* with neat stuff and features, I recommend it. If you have more $$$ then you can get Int-X and pay for tuning. I did option 2 because I don't have the time to play with it myself. <-- play with it myself, not play with myself...read properly :P

it backfires a lot (even normal driving), and when i floor it, no matter what gear, when it gets to between 6-7k rpm, it just fuel cut and backfires a lot. now i cant even go pass 7k rpm.

Mysql is selling his ignition upgrade due to a 50+ whp drop with them. He is back to OEM. That may be the problem. From what I hear Scott is working to fix the problem for FI guys

It's already figured out, we are just waiting for it to be implemented.

Jeff is out of town, the maps are locked so I cannot do it myself or I already would have.
