I never gave you a calibration with latency changes.
You gave me those numbers after your last update.

I re-oiled it and installed the intake back together. This time, however I put the intake filter in a better position and also I moved the mesh grill one coupler away from the maf house. When I drove the car I thought the excess oiling of the intake filter was making the car run much richer since I was seeing 10.6-10.8 AFR during boost. Therefore I let the intake filter dry a good 6 hours and I just drove the car. The AFR was 10.8 on the richest calibration I have. I am now running the v0 and the car is around 11.1-12.1 @ boost. Hopefully I got it right now ;p
I had really similar problems with what you and turborx8 had with the air filter in the same position as yours and his. When I changed it so that I had TWO 90 degree bends before the maf, it solved everything and my afr's were way more stable. Now my air filter was behind the intercooler but in front of the radiator. I believe mysql and mazdamaniac have this setup also. I think it helps smooth out the airflow a bit better. I got the idea from some other automotive forums too.

Hey Jeff, I'm posting this here just in case. I know you mentioned problems in the past with the sfu.ca email address or your ap one so I sent you the calibration reply email to your 'jeff' acct. also as you've advised me to in the past. I followed the instructions and also put in these plots. I hope if they're not correct that someone can comment on them. Thanks.Cobb AcessPORT with TURBO Discussion-second-gear-wot.jpg

Does anyone know if they can send me a base FI map for the AP. I bought mine from MM but he isn't responding back the emails. I need a base map to go off for this weekend when I get my car tuned with Kane's PPO2 software.

The maps identify who they were made for, so if you share it he will know who did it.

You just need the COBB base map - in order to drive the car OUT OF BOOST.

Kane: All I have right now is just the map that came with the AP when I purchased it N/A. Now that I am going FI do you think I will need another map?

If you keep the stock fuel injectors you can drive the car on the stock PCM.

I drove my turbo8 for 3weeks without my interceptor-x while I was waiting for the Cobb. As long as you stay out of boost your safe.

Hey guys, I have a question. I an in the middle of installing a greddy turbo kit on my 8 and using the accessport with MM's maps. I was doing a little searching and could not find any answer to my question.
Do I need to install the Intake Manifold Backing Plate if i'm using the accessport?

Will it make any difference since it's MAF based?

The reason i'm asking is because it seems I didn't get one with my kit. and wondered if it's even nessesary?

thanks

the blocking plate is worthless. Throw it in the trash.

all it does is turn your 6 port into a 4 port. It made tuning the emanage simpler since there is less to account for and no additional influx of air

I used my blocking plate to block off the air pump connection on the downpipe.
