Where can i buy AccessTuner Race Pro? I have an EU RX8, so the AccessTuner Race download from copp dosent work.

 

I believe you need to contact COBB themselves for that software

 

They wont sell it to you unless you are a certified Cobb e-Tuner.

Its a $2000 buy-in at that point to receive your unique security HASP.

I`m having a problem uploading my map to the car..it is greyed out in the AP when I go to the menu to install calibrations. I have tried updating the AP and dongle..they have the current firmware. Is this due to the new version of the ATR software, I`m waiting for them to e-mail me the new link......

Is that going to do the trick?

 

Thats odd. My version of ATR allows me to upload my own maps that I create. Did you get it to work yet?

 

I think something is fubarred...when I copy my map to the AP..it corrupts the file date....so I might have to start again?

Maybe I will send you the map and see if you can see it in yours

 

Figured out the problem....I have installed the software with a different AP at one time that belongs to someone else.....The maps I made work fine for HIS AP....not mine.

Problem is I uninstalled the software and re-installed with mine..and it still thinks it's his

Likely some stupid windows registry thing that the uninstall doesn't remove completely

Sent an e-mail to Cobb....hopefully they will know how to fix it.

In the meantime I am going to install it clean on another laptop and then re-build the map..unless I can open and re-save the one I have to work with the different serial #'d AP

I'm sorry for all these questions but I'm not sure what I am doing. I have an 04 mt rx8 with k&n typhoon intake, bhr ignition kit, and cobb accessport. I did a soft reset to the ecu before running the intake. Now I have access tuner race software and I want to rescale the maf. Everything I have read is not consistent. I have been data logging and regular driving my ltft is around 4 but under wot it's about +8%. My stft has recorded up to +19% but that only happened once. I have seen it up to +8% on normal driving. I just have a few questions.

Should I only be data logging on wot?

When rescaling the maf I understand you don't touch the first two numbers but which are these? I am assuming these are the voltages under 1.00.

Do I add the stft and ltft?

And what row of numbers am I multiplying by the correction numbers?

Again, I am just trying to make sense of all this and I am new.

Also cobb tunning told me that my rev limiter is changed to 9300, which is true but they also told me my fans would come on sooner and my oil metering pump would too. The last 2 have not been changed. Should I do this? And if so how do i know what to do with the oil metering pump?

Does anyone have access to a base "stock" map for my 2004 AT rx8? I understand from reading through this thread that MM's that I applied to my car today is locked.

I have requested the Race tuner software from Cobb. When I get the download link to the application, I would like to be able to load a base map to learn and study on.

The maps from Cobb's site are all for the MT only.

I just downloaded my version of access tuner race... seems very kewl.

When it fires up, it appears to have a Stock basline map for a 2004 AT car.

Is this something they supplied as per the accessport I bought from MM?

If so.. can I can tweak from this baseline and save as new map? apply to car?

so far I took this base map and changed max rpm from 7500 to 8500, saved map. I have not applied to ecu yet.

If I apply.. will it keep my stock maps, but just change the max rpm?

I am new.. i know... late to the party...

Has anyone gotten AT Race Dashboard to work with a 2b? I have tried everything I can find on here and on the cobb tuning forums. Even gone as far as bugging Jeff with no luck.

its got a direct serial dongle to the AP instead of that mini usb one with the orange on it. Newer version. So it would be car to AP to PC for live ECU. When I try it, the AP switches to the "Communicating with PC" screen what AT Race says can't connect to a live ecu.

 

Ahhhh gotcha.
It's been at least 4 months since I tried that and I received the same error.

Theres no dongle version because it is serial, there's no electronics in it like the usb dongle. AP is 1.6.1.1-13820. Running Vista Enterprise 32 bit on the laptop and Vista Business 64 Bit on the desktop. And if anyone is wondering, yes they're both legit

 

That's what I've always wanted to know. What the difference in the version with the mini usb and the one with the serial looking obd port.

I've always gotten the same error. Noticed the the file with the .dat3 extension is the same format as a tune file, if you load it in AccessTuner, it has the description: "Live tuning data for new AccessPORTs."

Wonder if there is something wrong with my copy...

 

You know Jeff if you would reply to my emails with an answer besides I don't support ATR, I wouldn't be bugging people on here to get it to work. I'm pretty sure its a general AP feature and not a ATR specific feature.

Anyways, maybe you could tell me if there is a special driver I'm missing or a setting or something, Anything would help at this point, Cobb forums had no response since march and that includes PM's. You seem to be the only one at this point that replies to his messages that knows how it works. lol.

And just to save your time because I know your probably going to ask, I installed AP Manager 2.0, Dongle Driver and ATR when I received the AP from you. Am currently waiting for a new atr link so i can do a fresh install of everything. Any Suggestions?
