Devoid, you can use any **** that fit the stock shifter. It has a 10mm thread.

The lazer etched ***** can custom make designs because they just put it on the screen and press etch. In our case a program that is complex because it has to follow the shape of the surface must be written. Then it has to be proven which scraps a few parts 'till it's perfected.

There is no metal to metal contact between the shifter and the transmission. So I doubt it will get hot from there. But, I think if it sat with the sunlight on it for awhile it will absorb heat. Not any different then leaving any metal in the sun. The good news is it will cool off when you drive. So keep the glove handy.
