It is a pleasure to serve! As one person on here noted, the forced induction people will really reap the benefits while the NA folk will also see some advantages especially in the fuel economy department.

I just rode the rev limiter for that split second. There are longer courses I'll hit soon that I know I'll be doing 1-2-3-2-1 shifts. I think swapping out a 5-speed miata tranny is best, but there goes the stock class.

I've use the 3rd Gen RX-7 ring pinion - 4.1 and works great for me. I'm sure there's a lot of 3rd Gen RX-7 folks out there that will be happy to trade there 4.1 with our RX-8 4.44.
