Great fit and finish…
Love it, nice sound, angled tips, but they do turn gold....

tanabe sounds nice but it almost seems that the engine noise overpowers the sound coming from the exhaust

Tanabe is sweet, something different.

But it seems like its sound you're after I suggest you look into the billyboat (b&b) exhaust, supposedly loudest exhaust out to date.

RP Performance (no additional resonator) or SR Motorsports (can add additional resonator to make it a bit more quiet, but be aware it is $$$).

i know that rotary performance has the supercat.. and SR motorsport has the high flow cat ...
any difference in the two.. or is one necessarily better than the other??

No difference (both hi-flow cats). On the SR Motorsports unit, you can order it with a 2nd resonator if you don;t want it much louder. SR Performance only comes with the hi-flow cat & they take out the additional resonator (stock cars we have 2, the cat itself & an additional resonator). If you don;t care, I would tell you to get the RP Performance. If sound (too loud) is very important to you then go for the SR unit (& tell them to add the additional resonator for $59). Both are top quality units.

well i plan on using it with the RB exhaust... wich by itself isnt that loud...
so maybe adding that second resonator isnt really that necessary..
well thanks all for the help!

Hello guys,

I need your help.

I am thinking to install a new exhausts. I have been looking for the Racing Beat lately but some say that it is not lounder (or not much lounder) than the stock exhaust. I am looking for a lounder sound than the stock but not too lound. Any recommendations? What about the Borla or Greddy? Are they lounder than the Racing Beat? Are they too lound? I don't want to sound like a civic, if you know what I mean

Thanks guy!
