Having owned various rx8s: all of them swapped with piston engines eg sr20det, 1jzgte vvti single turbo, 1jzge and currently having 1jzgte twin turbo non vvti. I am not satisfied by the way it handles ie more of a muscle car having time bending straight line performance but in the bends so much over-steer the car wants to wrap around itself.
so what so you guys think how a 4age 20v would handle in an rx8? all suggestions are welcome.

no rotary nopes sorry
has to be a toyota engine (availability issues)
can not swap 3s beams (technical difficulties)
