From what I've seen the past 11 months, Ito is a pretty serious chap. He hasn't been one to make superfluous claims. I do understand everyone's point, but I'm sure he has a good reason to keep his knowledge close hold - for the time being, anyway. I'll certainly be interested to hear what has to say when he choses to do so.

Post dyno sheets and tell us how you have "magically made 239.7 HP" when no one else could. I know that if I had the resources at a shop and that shop knew how anyone and everyone was trying to get more power out of an engine it would be a good and not to mention profitable business decision to let everyone know that this shop could be a repeat performer.

Until you give hard proof I am steadily waving the BS flag high in the air over this post.

Please prove it. I'd love to go faster. :D
I understand your point and I also understand every forum members point. All I could say is: Ito is a very well known name around my neck of the woods. So is J.R.'s Rotary Performance(my rotary shop) a modification has been done to the car, but the car looks and is in a bone stock form. For my own protection the Rx8 is bone stock.

I beleive Ito has what he says, but think for a sec. Bone stock means it has all the stock parts. It doesnt mean they havent been modified. He'll say when he wants to, but I think it's ported.

First and foremost I am not interested at ALL in generating extra work at my shop.(I barely could handle the demand for my work right now) I just come to this forum once in a while to show other Rx8 owners the potential this awesome car has.. with no interest for personal gain.

Come on man! I doubt you are BS'ing... I've read plenty of your posts on your 1/4 mile times. But come on... you can't just toss out **** like that and not at least give a hint. "No piggyback, but the answer is in the ecu" or "stock, but it IS modded" or something... no need to give away secrets, but a hint at least will help to sate everyone's appetite.

Ito, you cant be surprised people are skeptical. You dont post often here after all. A lot of people dont take kindly to being teased either. I just hope whatever the mod was I can do it, cause something like porting the engine aint gonna happen for me for a while at least.

Well, I believe something has been done to it. It really doesn't matter. I respect Judge Ito's unwillingness to reveal what he's done; I personally wouldn't want to reveal my own modifications, just the results.

I'm a bit exhausted but here are the results. I changed my back tires.(my original bridgestone rear tires are bold) I basically took the front tires and swapped them to the rear. I could not get the car from seriously slipping traction all day.. My first run I had 17 psi of air pressure(the same psi I have ran the car with latetly and got decent 60 foot marks) but this time the car felt like I was slidding on ice. On that run the engine just kept bouncing off the rev limiter and loosing valuable time. I just aborted the run(every run needs to be flawless for a perfect E.T.) My second run I lower the tire pressure to 12psi.. and got the same scenario as my first run. I was a bit frustrated since I punished the car with some awesome burnouts and the car felt like it was going to hook up. I go for my third and final pass for the day and I lower my tire pressure to 9 psi and do the craziest burnout I have done with my Rx8 up to date, and the same fuc@#%$# thing car felt like it was driving on ice and bouncing off the rev limiter.

With this new power I'm going to have to change to Dot drag radial street tires to get the car to hook up hard and go for a better run. I'll be purchasing tires during the week and test & tune on sunday again.. Basically same car different animal. learning curve all over..

Something doesn't seem right to me. If you can't hook up with the potenzas' that are on the car or some different tires, with only 9psi, and doing the "craziest burnout you have done", in a 3200lb Rx8 that is supposedly "bone stock", with 240whp, and with all of the so called testing and tuning you have done, and not even give us one E.T. time, HOW DO YOU EXPECT PEOPLE TO BELIEVE ANYTHING YOU SAY??????

I am not trying to call you a liar, but man come on, I think I would at least have one 1/4 mile time whether I spun the FUC@#$#$ing wheels down the whole track or not.

I guess I am just saying that when I take a car that I have spent a lot of time and sweat working on to make faster, and was trying to expell the results to other interested car enthusiasts, then I don't believe I would have even left the track, especially after anouncing the possibility of running a 13 sec 1/4 mile run, until I had something to give the people that have followed my progress up to this point and still expect them to still listen to a word I say..............

A couple of people have spoke up for you, and that is why I stuck around to find out how your "testing and tuning" was progressing. But I think I am starting to have a little trouble believing anything now......................

But maybe you can proove me wrong. (very doubtful)

Respectfully,
Punishr

Easier said then done... I think you do not have the minimum idea of how bad the wheel spin was. I rather have some wheel spin and a shitty 60 foot mark then having my rear almost come loose of the car from a wheel hop.. Been there done that.. and I don't like it.

Drag racing is a very weird sport. just when you think you have it covered sometimes you don't. I have many years of drag racing and I tried to apply it today to bring home a better E.T. but in 3 runs it just did not happen.
Believe me it wasn't from lack of EFFORT..

I am not doubting your effort at all, I just don't understand how you expect poeple to believe what you say when you don't have one single lick of proof of anything....

I am grateful of your efforts to make this car faster. That is why I was keeping up with your progress myself. I am just having a little trouble with no proof what so ever and no rusults to show anybody...

But like I said hopefully you will proove me wrong.......

SHOW ME SOMETHING TO MAKE ME BELIEVE IN YOUR "EFFORT"
