Any coil will "work".
Will it plug in? No.
There are no coils that will plug in, even if you had the right conversion harness.
The OE RX-8 coils are, apparently, the only positive-trigger "smart" coils on the planet.
LSx coils are negative-going trigger.
Now, if you want to build an interface...

Don't get mad because it wasn't the answer you wanted. Its like going to the bank and asking for a million dollars. When they tell you NO, are you going to have a hissy fit? I would hope not.

Seems like you can't read very well. MazdaManiac gave you the answer. As others have said as well as him, it CAN be made to work but noone has attempted it yet.

He's busy for next 2 weeks so I thought I could help him myself and other members by committing a thread
specific to this subject to encourage feedback from people currently using ls1 coils in their 8's if any and members who may know details ,wiring etc.
I wasnt demanding info . I didnt rant about not getting information at any point. I'm puzzled at how ignorant some of you are..Bashing me for asking a question in a thread . Even though I couldnt find anything searching Keywords " LS1 coil or LS1 ignition"

What the #$%. The answere! like its the only one. Come on ! Get your head out of mazdamaniacs behind and read the thread in order! the only person that helped was darkbrew and a few others reasured me that those of you who bashed me and others were just a bunch of ****** and theres no cure .
