Mob psychology indeed. My coils are still working great with several thousand miles on em so far. No misfires, no nothin.
My average MPG has gone down slightly, but my average RPM has gone up considerably.

Cant wait to get mine and give them a try... I got a feeling my OEM 50k miles coils/plugs/wires(yes, they have never been changed, I just got the car) might be the cause of my 18 mpg average on my last highway road trip...

Is anyone else having trouble keeping the back end of the car in line after installing the BHR coils?
1st and 2nd both, the *** end will come out if I mash the pedal while cornering.
Could the BHR coils have affected my rear suspension? I know for a fact I had to throw in a little clutch tap do that before installing the coils :-)

Telephone pole injured due to wild "***" movements of RX8 with BHR Coil Kit. Coils said to cause "uncontrollable loss of traction."

I've run only less than one tank of gas on the new system and wanted to go through it and then start my "test" on the new one. What I feel is a more stable idle and smooth power to fuel shut off. I haven't done the new plugs yet as they were shipped just after (I had to put it in the same day I got it). The next nice day here in NY I will throw the plugs in and see what happens. I wanted to see if I got better MPG's before doing that, just to test. I would say the power is just constant which I got more of a hesitation up top. I just thought it was normal.

Well, the results are in. bse50 nailed it and my hot start issue is due to low compression (155K miles and counting) and, as expected, had nothing to do with my BHR ignition. The ignition is working well and has cleared up my mis-fire CELs. I think that I will live with the hot start until I can't stand it anymore and then have a new engine put in.

Alien - I will try and get a darker scan so that it will show up better. What it showed was all "chambers" (anyone know the correct term?) on both rotors running at ~4.2 kg/cm2. According to the book they are supposed to be 8.5 with a minimum of 6.9. Still runs like a bat out of hell.
Socket - believe it or not but the dealer has done all of my oil changes so it has been whatever Mazda has been putting in.

Wow 155k with 5w20 and no pre-mix! ...Lol, that is a slap in the face to some of the oil fiends. Navy, don't feel bad about replacing a motor after 155k, thats a LONG run. Hell, I've had piston motors go bad before that. :P
