How about Saturday night around 2AM! WTF? This Hurricane stuff is getting ridiculous. Looks like we've got to batten down the hatchs again for this Saturday. Dont you think they could at least hit mid week so I get a few days off work! Oh well, at least I have a generator and a chain saw now. What else do you need!

I'm kinda hoping my car sustains a little more damage in this storm. State Farm cut ME (that's right. made out to me, not a shop) a check for 1720 dollars for the last storm (dented hood, damaged bumper, and scratches on the rear quarter). :D

 

I kinda like these weekend storms....If I work another 14-15 days in a row AGAIN, I can buy a new roof!

 

Well how did everyone do? Looks like I made it unscathed and got my power back late last night. I guess that 3000 dollar generator wasnt such a bad purchase.

I think we should get together for a hurricane relief meet this weekend. You only have to show up with money and alcohol will be providing the relief! :D I think either day is fine for me. Lets do this this time, Im having RX8 withdrawals! :p

 

Hope everyone is ok. Seems like we got lucky once again. We lost power at 11pm on sat and got it back sunday at 7am for an hour lost it again and finally got it back at 11am on sunday. Not too bad. Helps to live in one of the newer neighborhoods.

I fared ok in this one. Better than we did in frances I think. Lost power at 1130pm saturday, got it back 8am sunday. No more damage to the car.



Let me know pico. Sarah and I are looking for some "relief" as well, and we have no other plans this weekend really.

Lets meet up on Sunday the 3rd @ noon at City Place. I thought we could catch a little Sunday brunch at the Cheescake Factory (the brunch is awesome if you havent had it). Then do whatever. Any thoughts?

I know parking down there is difficult to do as a group. I usually park in the main garage off of Okeechobee. It usually isnt to crowded yet at that time so we could try to meet up on the fourth floor where there should be some open areas of the lot.

 

4th floor of the main garage off okeechobee it is. Parking on that level at that time of day should not be an issue. See you all there at noon.

 

Sounds like its just us and the girls Paradigm. Should be fun either way. Boost, Starzen, and everyone else is still welcome to come.
