I wish I could go, yet my car is still in pieces right now, so I will have to wait until RA in March.

You inspired me. I removed everything after work today. Took about an hour. I've got to clear up some wires this weekend and then it'll all be set.

Procured a truck and trailer today as well for the weekend, so now I'm excited even more.

Lego - if you need any help this weekend let me know. Also, if you need to borrow anything - let me know. I have 4 car tie-downs if you need them?

Those I may need actually. I'll let you know. The inside of the car looks very baren now. I hear every whine, knock, and rattle much easier. It's a little disheartening, but it's to be expected in a 23 y/o car. I think once I nut and bolt the car this weekend and change all the fluids, things will be better.

looks like it might be cold...under 60, i know it is not snowmobile weather, but cold and rainy is the forecast at this point. I hope the rain part goes away, the colder weatehr I can handle. so, be prepared, for working or driving, for cold and wet.

yep, gonna be cold out. I will be ready for it, how about the rest of you.

I know the car will love the cold air, but for the driver it will be a little rough.

OD, I have you down as a spectator. Are you coming?

I've pulled my back out again picking up my automotive tool bag. I wrote Juli and requested to be on a reserve list because I may not be able to work. I will be there taking pics if I can't work the event. I can do that with no problem.

I have gotta start getting some excercise or I will keep doing this to myself.

It would not be good if it rained this being my first event and all. I have a set of Azenis RT-615's that I was going to run. Maybe I should plan on using the stock tires / wheels instead. I don't have room to bring both.

rain is an excellent teaching tool.......don't fret...any tire you pick will be just fine....and yes you can fit an entire second set in the back seat.

Yes you do. I usually (and most others too) bring another set of tires. They fit across the back seats. If you want more room, you can remove the back seats (bottom pulls out and back has 2 bolts). Tires across the back, jack and tools in the trunck. In fact, you don't need a jack since most people bring them anyway.

I'll bring a jack and electric impact wrench to use if anyone wants it. I'm also bringing the easy up. Do we want a grill?

I heard back from Julie and I'm on reserve. I suspect that if my back doesn't get better soon, I will be yall's "track ho photographer" this event which would be a lot of fun. I get to use my new camera at the track for the first time.

Lego, I checked on the Colony Inn in Camden and we are set for the 9th. I'm looking forward to some stories from the 24. I should be in around 10-11 PM.

Yall stay warm up there. Silver --hope your back eases off man--thats a bad thing to have.
If it does rain--for the new timers--careful with the braking--the backend will wiggle a little if you push a little too hard. Rain=SMOOTHNESS--and that is what it should be all the time.

Car is all set. Nut and bolted today... Fluids checked... Interior is now all stripped out. I feel like I should have fully caged it, but we'll see. Both temp gauges are working great (oil temp is running ~200 notmally). Getting an extra set of tires mounted Wednesday. I'm stoked now.

BTW, I bought the NASA Holiday coupon deal when they had it. I may have a coupon or two I wouldn't mind getting rid of at cost. Anyone interested?

I'm taking the Instructor Clinic at CMP this weekend. After that, if all goes well, they won't be needed.

I might give one to my brother for a present so that he may be able to enjoy as well. Since I got the RX-7 as a "hand me down" from him many years ago, he may appreciate the condition it is in now. It is definitely in a much different shape than when he had it.

I'd also be interested in a coupon.

BTW, I didn't realize that you were interested in the instructor clinic!
