Heck I just do have enough guts to ride with myself--much less somebody old and wearing bifocals and a hearing aid.

I will be leaving around 5:00 PM on Friday as I will be putting in a full day at work. So I will be a little late getting in.

Lego - Are you around this weekend so I can drop off the Easy-up? If not, is there somewhere I can leave it? Since this will probably be the last weekends I am in town before this event.

Wish I had it to take to olddraggers in Macon on the 20th. He doesn' t have a garage and it just could come in handy if we have any wet crap falling from the sky. Oh well, you guys live in another part of the world down there.

Yes, I'll be here. I'll be installing an LSD Rear in the RX-7 on Saturday. Just call.

Old Dragger won't be spectating. At the last moment he'll find some extra money in the coffee fund at work. Then he'll be right there with us...on track...struttin' his stuff. Don't let him foll you!

What L8 said...

Actually I am really excited about this event having had no track in over 2 months. I have some stuff I still neeed to get done before the event. I need to do a bleed job on the brakes, I need an oil change, coolant flush, and to replace the fuel pump. I may put off the coolant flush as I am really busy at work.

Hi Y'all,

Been really busy with business / work / family. I am signed-up for the CMP instructor clinic.. I am stoked about getting back on the track. The car is more or less ready, I need to put some pads on it and may replace the front calipers.

I'm also very excited about this. I'm swamped at work and have spent much more time lately on the RX7club site. Sorry to ignore you all. I got some Hawk HT-8 racing brake pads so I can't wait to try them. I'm going to try to meet you all in Atlanta for the Friday drive up.

Did you see the in car video from teh Legacy GT at Barber? They got some awesome footage of the 62 car getting it's wheels driven off. That was masterful (for both cars).

Will you be bringing the race car as well? I wish it had a passenger seat as I would love to get a ride in it (although it does have a drivers seat).

I may do that! Do you have the special service tool? Charlie and I tried to remove the retaining ring by tapping it with a brass hammer and only succeeded in breaking off one of the ridges.

Yes, Jody will be there as well. He has moved up to racing and will be debuting his new T1 Corvette at CMP. He actually had it at VIR first, but it needed some work. He will be tough to keep up with, not that I ever could before.

TrackAddict, no I did not see the video, but after what you said I will be doing that in just a little bit. I will be brining the gray car to drive in TT and maybe one of the race cars if they look all right after the race.

Here is a picture of the cars during practice at Daytona. They will look a little different at the race. The series sponsor, Koni, has required some additional advertising and a picture follows as well.

Of course she took the pictures she is getting better. Also, apologies are due, the pictures should have actually been posted on the Daytona thread. Heck, you should see what she has done with the website, www.racewithroar.com.
