Hi Guys,
Would like to go (to work the event) but might not know till the last minute. Same as everyone else...taxes, fuel, and bankruptcy (almost everyone else)!

RJ....I figure you are home, or almost there.......Hope you had a safe trip, look forward to meeting you, but it won't be in Rockingham, because I have to work. I would like to hit one more at Road A before the season is over though.

I hate you guys......I am trying to figure out how I can get free one day, and come down for some time. Maybe, just maybe I can score some time.....I have all these new goodies, including a new strut tower brace made of carbon fiber , which I want to test.

The Tarheel Sports Car Club is going to be there for an HPDE.

Lego, why you lurking on the 350Z boards?

No, no Nissan envy. We have one, my wife drives an Altima, but I'm not looking to give up the 8 for anything else.
Just checking on other track events. The Tarheel SCC is pretty active and since I used to live in Charlotte and Raleigh, I might join them in a few events.

The President of the THSCC said that their schools are set up like NASA and it's a little cheaper. Although, it doesn't have the work for credit which I like. Just more options for track ho's. They do Roebling, VIR, and RA too.

I am trying to weasel my way out of work, I have just found out they are short on instructors. I went back to my notes, I used to run enduro karts on that track, I woudl be curious to see how the times compare.
/glances back to huge pile of stuff for Evo, which STILL needs to be installed...which now includes RA1's/ There is NO mercy.....

You will be there. Resistence is futile.
If you want, I'll pick you up at exit 17 on I-85.

I need to win either a fuel can or driving gloves this time.

I will drive to Rockingham from Charlotte where I am currently. I plan on checking into the hotel, then heading to the track around 5pm and scoping out the area. I will meet you guys at the track. Looks like it is in the middle of nowhere so chances are that Sprint PCS doesn't work there. Just look for the track ho, that'll be me :p

Per Julie:
This information is for all the NASA volunteers for the upcoming event at Rockinhgam.
NASA will not be able to access the track paddock until midnight Friday.
This is due to the last minute notice that the track is rented ALL day/night Friday by a filming crew!
We are hoping to be able to set up T&S since it is located on the outside.
Registration and Tech will be held outside of the track Friday evening in an assigned area and operated out of the Red Enclosed NASA trailer. Our biggest hurdle will be getting ALL the entrants/trailers lined up for a quick entry through the tunnel Sat AM. WE MUST not let the tunnel get blocked by ANY NASA vehicles since there will be others coming and going through the tunnel ALL day/night Friday!
Jim and Julie Pantas will hope to be at the track around 3PM to set up outside on Friday.
Thanks for all you do!
please call or email if you have any questions.
