All I want for X-mas is a Race Car................and lesson at RA

Yessssss 100 posts!

legokcen 09-26-2005 07:57 PM

I'll work this event as well.

Gordon, we'll contribute to the Chateau Phlash Fund (gas money) if you bring the camper.

Stop&TurnFreak 09-26-2005 08:10 PM

Ok, they have covered pits here, so why don't we all go, pick one night to cook out, or cater something in, and just hang out. I spent MANY thanksgivings at the Rock, when I raced go-karts. The grand nationals were always there. I can even tell you the times we ran on the road course.

AC8 09-26-2005 08:21 PM

Who's going

Freak are you working or driving?

Have you heard of OPM Autosports, here in Cumming?

SilverEIGHT 09-27-2005 04:46 AM

Gordon, If you bring the hotel, I would like to contribute to Phlash fund as well.

Lego, Silver, and who ever else, I'll take you up on that........I am still trying to get some details on the camping area there. I need a 30a hookup and all is good. We have room for for four more.....

Only thing.......we are selling our house (getting a place with more land) and are due (in theroy) to close around that time........so, I won't know until a week to 10 days before this event if I'm really good to go........

The boss cleared me, just gotta clear the other.

Yes Chris, I'm working race control and start (the 8 is a little under powered to pull Chateau phlash). As for the others, I'm not sure. Heck, drive it if ya want to, but it's a blast working it as well.

Phlash 09-27-2005 11:12 AM

AC8 09-27-2005 11:31 AM

Phlash, I'll take a spot at the Chateau. I'm in for gas, and or help to drive. What do i need to do to work the event? Does NASA still need workers?

If you don't have space for the ride up to the Rock. David has offered to pick me up at the airport, so I'll fly in and we will meet you at the track.

BTW-I called OPM Autosports, great deal to drive "race prep'ed" Miata's. The only thing I don't have is my Novice SCCA License (David can you help a brother out?)

Stop&TurnFreak 09-27-2005 12:47 PM

Yep, i will be in touch, busy busy right now.

Gordon, I'll pass on the "ass smelling BBQ" if you don't mind. :D

AC8 09-27-2005 10:51 PM

If that's "the" choice spot

Finish killin' em at the Rock, apparently. Talk to my NASCAR bud today and he reminded me that Rockingham is "as rough as a cob". Uh-oh. May not be much potential in the ole' Potenzas after that.

Phlash 09-28-2005 09:15 AM

good god.....this is a 860 mile trip from my neck of the woods...

AC8 09-28-2005 09:48 AM

No joke......6.5 to 7 hours from Alpharetta. If you need help driving Phlash, let me know.

I don't know the route from the Noogger, will you still come through ATL?
