what time are you leaving Albany on the Friday? A few of us have been tossing around the idea of leaving ATL around 2 or so. Phalsh will be down here that morning, and TA and I are planning to leave around 2. We could try to meet you and OD in Macon, around 4-4:30 depending on actual departure time, and we can caravan it from there. Just a thought....

 

I was originally going to catch a ride with TA but It may be out of the way. I would like to keep from causing anyone (including me) to keep from driving out of the way. Coming home on Sunday will be a late and tiring drive. Making it as short as possible is important for all. So, my question is... Can I catch a ride with someone who would be coming around I-285 on the North side?

1. Someone traveling around I-285 N to E, I could meet around Memorial & I-285.
2. L8 I could meet at your house.
3. Open to other suggestions!

 

you can meet me at my place, and bum a ride from me if you like. Space will be a tad cramped on the inside, due to tires in the back seat area, but you are welcome to ride along.

You can get the car corner weighed, not weighted. Roebling has scales in the tech shed.

Check out the car I was working on all last week. I got the corner-weights done the night I left, just in time for a 'test drive' on the streets of Chi-town (actually out-skirts of town). But still, SICK beast.

Cool! I love the wide fenders. One Lap goes to Roebling doesn't it? Would like to know what kind of lap times they get there.

 

Word is 1:19's, however they are hoping for 1:17's. My goal for this event is 1:20 flat.

the touring laps this weekend at the Mitty just might hold me over until Roebling. I am really looking forward to experiencing a new track, and one that you guys that have been on it have really enjoyed.

TA and I tossed around a couple ideas about meeting plans for Friday the 19th, and we thought it would be good for those from around here to meet up somewhere on the route to Savannah. Phlash, what are your plans, you mentioned beign in town that Friday morning? I thought that the rest of us could meet up at the Hudson Bridge exit on I-75 South, and then pick up OD and lego in Macon somewhere. Thoughts, ideas...

 

No real plans......maybe see chaz and company, but other than that I'm open....

 

arkwright rd exit is the best exit to meet at in macon. I have made arrangements to be off that day so anytime for me-- and am I ready to go or what!

Maybe we meet at 2pm at the Hudson Bridge Exit. We can then be in Macon by around 3:30. That puts us at Roebling by around 6pm.

 

Getting psyched about Roebling. I am trying to memorize the track as I am practicing on Grand Prix Legends.

Got my ol' 1967 F1 Lotus type 49 down in the 1:13's now.. one can always dream. I wonder if a Cosworth DFV would fit in the Mustang?? It is after all a Ford motor..
