NASA May 20/21 at Roebling Road
i have been slowly reading the article in the new GRM, where they tested a bunch of cars at Roebling, makes me want to get down there even more. been a while now, need some more track time.
getting closer to having my gauges in. I'm really interested in seeing the readings at Roebling. I think the weather is going to be HOT.
I think the gauges are going to turn out good. Taking a lot of thinking /planning/searching. but after I get it done I could probably do the second one in 3/4 hrs.
I was surprised that the Lotus turned a 88sec lap. Isnt that what some of us where running the last time out? Didn't STF say he turned a 1:28 in Lego's car?

I thought I read the Exige turned a 93 second lap as a best time with a pro driving. I was turning consistent 1:31s (91 second laps). I beleive I did turn some 1:29s as well while trying to catch up to the Z06. Interestingly I was reading on Corner-carvers an account of an open track day at Roebling a few weeks ago where a Honda Odessey driven in the One Lap of America race was turning low 1:30s. A mini van!!! That must have been some serious ***** out driving. I would love to see that Odyssey go through turn 3.

We have a Honda Odessy. Those things will haul A**. Drive tighter than you may think. That V-tec engine really puts out.
Gauges should be done by this w/e. i think my install is looking good. I recessed the gauges down into the center pod. Mechanical ones of course-much more accuate
, I wonder if I can connect the gauge lights to the dimmer switch we have.?
I also have ordered the Agency Power pulley and will have that on by Roebling. --Cant I ever leave this car alone!

Oh yeah, the only thing the RX-7 is waiting for are springs and coilover perches. It will then take over track duties. It will be brought to the fall Roebling.....
I also feel like I have a new car. I've been driving the RX-7 a lot lately since it's been running, and the other day, I drove the RX-8 for the first time in two weeks. The 8 felt like I had just sat in a brand new car. It brought back the same smile I had when I first drove it over 2 years ago. I was thinking, damn this is smooth, damn this is quick, damn this is a hell of a car!

I just got a reminder from Julie to get my slow *** registered. I will have to take care of that tonight, been too damn busy, and need to get on the ball, or on the track more likely.
