I'm in Jefferson. Now who wants to come down and help me replace my Pulsation Damper with a Banjo Bolt, so I can be back driving my FC a billion times faster than doing it alone and I'll show my face? :-D!

 

Yeah, that's what I meant. Excuse the mistake. So any ideas for a meet?

 

Next Saturday my car should be back on the road (Leaking pulsation damper). I'm close to the MOG...are RX-8 craving FC's welcome?

Edit: Wow, I forgot it also depends on if I have enough money for gas left over.

 

we would need to check with the fine folks at Sutherlin before showing up at their lot to have a group meet. It would be cool, and I think it has been discussed before. Maybe we can get that to happen soon. We do need to have another group meet, it has been a while.

 

I am a fairly new 8 owner... Anyone still doing meets? Would love to see more than the few I see around Kennesaw

Hey ya'll.. just wanted to introduce myself to the community. My names Rob and I'm picking up an 04' RX-8 this weekend... so wanted to join the group and see when events are! I live in Commerce near the Atlanta Dragstrip so I'm not to far out.

I'll try and make it to the next GTG, I saw you guys started off by doing Andretti... has that changed? Look forward to meeting everyone.

 

Welcome aboard! We have lots of fun stuff coming up. Especially the Grand Am at Barber Motorsport Park in Bermingham next month, for a spectator event. Carolina Motorsport Park with NASA is next month and a few are planning a Hooters event I think. You will want to join http://www.garx8club.com to stay up with that. We have other tracking events scheduled for driving and we always look for fun stuff like the Petit Le Lans. I think there is something going on up at the Commerce drag track if I'm not mistaken. Do you have any info on that. We have never got a group to meet up there but I think that could be fun for a change. We are a pretty diverse group with different interest. Feel free to join in and make suggestions.

 

Ya I'll definatly make sure to join the GA-RX8 site. I might try to come out next month to spectate, will probably be a while before I can do a track event as I'm just getting the car and in the process of moving into Commerce here.

I'm always up for Mountain runs though and I'll check commerce dragstrip. I know we could all meet up one Friday for Grudge Night events. They let you pay like $20 and race all night till' 12. We'll get something together for sure!

 

I was in Buford this past weekend and saw a silver and a red Rx8.

Mine has "SilverEIGHTStudio.com" stickers & GA RX-8 Club logos and a NASA sticker. Looks stock except for the RB exhaust. No tint on the windows and a old fart driving with a dumb grin on his face.
