p.s. STF did you get my "card"?
the Hampton Inn, in Oxford. 32v said that is where they are staying, so I booked a room there, to make things easy. Not a bad rate at all.

Should we caravan over there Friday afternoon? What time do you guys want to leave?

Are we meeting at Charlies first for a tuner sesseion? Guess we should be invited before we do something like that though. Since he will not be there especially.

he said we could come over the week before, but not right before we actually go to the event. Since he will be in Daytona. obviously if we do something, we need to schedule with him.

cool, good to know you are still in.

I had you confused with another guy in Alabama that had that avatar last year. He was a 7 owner, not an 8'er. Can't think of his SN now.

I assume you sent your check to Stop&TurnFreak. Other than that we plan on setting up a chat session to get any questions answered before hand. 32VCobra suggested a chatroom we could meet in. We just need to determine a good time for everyone (a little closer to the date). Let me know the best way to send y7ou a message to invite you to the chat.
Other than that, just show up and be respectful of all the participants and instructors.

I might just go hang out with you guys at Charlies and then meet up with you again at the track if it isn't too far to drive. I wouldn't mind watching if that is possible.

Here is a nice video at Laguna Seca in an 8 showing some nice foot work.

He keeps the RPM above 6K.

Hi SilverEight - with all due respect...

Edit - oh yeah, use the search function But it is a classic video and belongs in any self respecting RX8 track ho's collection right alongside the best of trackaddict videos.

I finally started getting used to my race shoes and now I'm having trouble with my street shoes! I think I will just start wearing my race shoes to work!

a lot of people use the blade method instead of the heel toe. just get a little wider gas pedal and you can do it much easier

My four ebay Potenzas came in yesterday and they are awesome. I can still see evidence of the little nipple thingies on the tread. They have never been pushed around a curve because there is no sign what so ever of being pushed. Dang good purchase. Me happy!
