A fit? As in a Honda fit? Damn maybe I'll my girls car around, or maybe steal my mom's Malibu, its got to be a little faster.
But how much is it to just get in as a spectattor?

spectator is free. IT is held on the ambulance training course at the local firefighter school in st augustine off of phillips.

And don't let the Fit fool you. It actually handles VERY well. AND the owner/driver of this particular Fit knows more about mechanics than anyone else I know, including myself. For example, this past saturday, the evo ran the track in 46 seconds and the Fit made it in 49. The evo is pushing 500 hp and is fully track prepped, and the fit is stock on nasty all season tires. Yeas, the driver has ALOT to do with it, but its not a Yaris, for sure

Please do the track thing! It is the corvette club we are racing with, but at least two people I know are going, maybe three, but no Rx-8s except me so far. Its me, a 500hp evo, and a fit, POSSIBLY a EG-6
As of right now I'm down, just got couple of questions. What does the flyer mean when it says no mufflers? Also is it a cone track or a real track? I've never been to a track in 8 so I'm sure I'll be spinning out a lot lol. Do they allow passengers and is that extra charge? Have you paid for it by mail? Feel sketchy sending a check. Do I get something back after I send a check and do I chose my number?

Thanks

ok, lets see..

1- no open exhaust. You have to have some type of muffler installed, oem or aftermarket. It is a training facility close to residential so they do not permit just a pipe, with regards to sound ordinance

2- real track. check out this thread, these were taken saturday at the track.
http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread...700002&page=68
they use it to train ambulance drivers, so if those things can get throught it safely so can we. It was raining lightly saturday and there was only one spinout, a trans-am.

3- no passengers. I wish there was, I could use advice, but rules are rules.

4- both my friends that did it saturday sent checks with no issues. They actually hold the check until registration that day, in case someone doesnt show. I dont believe a "we got your payment" notice was sent.

I am actually sending out mine today. For those who end up going we can always meet at or around my place that morning (Avenues Mall-ish) so no one gets lost. As mentioned before, viewing is free, but there is a possibility that you may have to park in the grass, and there are no stands.

So I like this new Mobil site but I can't tag anyone's quotes :/

Well I have mufflers but it sounds like I'm running straight engine, would that come up as a problem when they hear my car?

The hid are plug and play. What you'll need is a power converter harness because the stock fog light harness doesn't create enough power to light the hid which I had to do the same thing. Headlights are different cuz they can power aftermarket hid with no problem since the the stock bulbs need to generate a lot of power. I will check the price for everything and let you. I paid 75 for plug and play digital kit but the stock harness could not push the power so then I got the harness which I don't remember the price.

well here is the link. i took this from my phone so the audio quality does no justice to the true sound of the car

http://www.youtube.com/user/RXTremeWankel?feature=mhsn

the car sounds mean below 1k to 4k and after that ..... it screams for you to get the f*** out my way :D I'm used to the sound now just because it was so drastic going from stock to full exhaust and now i don't notice it until I'm on it. very happy with it. just wish i could get rid of the cels.

We are racing with the Corvette club, and its only $30 to run. Plus the price of me buying a helmet of course.
