Indeed. Of course my vehicle was already buffed out, so I did not need to do those steps beforehand. However I did clay bar first and the very lower portion under the doors was missed.

After reading all of the reviews, I too, decided to jump on the ICE bandwagon. Since I am always used to applying wax in my garage, I did the same with the ICE. I came back 2 hrs later, and it was still wet! Finally, after about 4 hrs it was dry. It took quite a bit of effort to remove as well. I guess I'll have to wax it in the warm California sun next time. Get my tan on as well.
I think I'll stick to using my Eagleone Nanowax...makes my BB look sweet, even though it doesn't last but a month or two.
As stated several times before, the plastic trim look brand new after ICE application.

the more things change
ice never really dries. it evaporates and that's what makes it so hard to take off.
what i have found out is if you use is micro fiber towels to take it off then you
get better results. alot better trust me i've used this stuff about about ten time already.

Ice Disaster
I use this on my girlfriends gray car all of the time but used it on my black 8 last weekend and was not happy at all. First it didn't dry in the garage so waited till morning and still had trouble getting any shine (it just smeared around) so took it out in the sun to dry. Used microfiber towels (best for taking it off) and still could not shine it up.
I had used mothers carnuba wax before the ice so that might have been the problem but will avoid Ice in the future for the 8. Yes, I will put it on the plastic since it is the best I have found for making that look good.
I am going to start using some of the Meguiars products to see how they work.

It's only a thin polymer, not a true carnuba wax. If you have a dark colored car I highly suggest using Poor Boys Natty's Paste Wax (blue). Very simple to apply and wipe off. The depth and clarity is truly amazing. FYI - I've tried almost every polymer based product available and I too was a sworn believer.
