They will make noise, esp. coming to a stop. If you reuse the anti-rattle shims from the stock pad set and *sparingly* apply this stuff on shim and pad sufaces to dampen vibrations, they work ok for DD.

i didn't use the shims; i'm wondering if it would have helped with the outside half of the caliper sticking to the back of the pad. i had to gently tap them off with a hammer.

changing back to OE pads took all of 20 minutes; i should have just done it at the track.
