Here is from my track outing last weekend. It was VERY hot. Water temps getting up to 231 at one point. Here's some pics....not sure why Picasa is showing red x's...may be updating the permissions change to "public" and taking a minute to do it.

And this folks is why you check your tire pressure when it's 95 degrees outside. I didn't check them prior to this run and they were probably around 41-42psi.

Thanks. I normally skip the peak summer track days due to the hot weather so I can't wait to get back out there in Sept.

 

Yea, had planned to skip summer also but I'm 3'd in Points in NASA-SE TTD so I need to keep my position up. I really have a hard time with the heat. May have to purchase a cool shirt.

I may as well toss my hat in the ring here. Pretty much how she looks every day. I'm too lazy to put all the stckers and vinyl on magnets, so other than the wheels being changed it's exactly how she looks if I take her out on a non race day.

Really about the only recent shot I have of her.

azathoth, could you post a few pics of you roll cage? Looks like you have it in a daily driver and I'd like to see the fabrication.

No problems, its custom made by me and a friend (dont be afraid we know what we are doing) he is a pro racer for 25 years and constructs racecars for a living and i am a international welding specialist and quality controller so the outcome was noting else then perfect. =)

Its not painted yet but that is almost better, then you can see the good quality work, our plan is to start fabricate them for those who want to buy one.

Its not a cage it is a rollbar/track day cage that is bolted in to the chassie at floor and wheel wells.

I snap some pictures later bf. this weekend.
