Well I'm getting rebuilt at the end of july...i'm going to try and get another HPDE in for this year. Then...I need a daily driver so I can really go crazy for a track setup.

Enkei's, really sticky tires, big injectors, etc etc.

 

lol I hear ya. Sounds like it'll be fun man. Got anything specific planned out? Curious to see what others have in mind usually, especially when it's a full build like that.

 

Enkei RPF-1's 18x9 or 9.5, haven't settled on tires yet, seibon ts hood, slotted rotors...and that about does it as an NA track car.

 

ah, sorry. I thought you mean't all out project build as in, full BBK, full engine build, gut the car and rollbar or cage, stuff like I did basically. I hear ya though, thats cool.

 

I need a full driver mod first.

 

I'll hopefully will have pictures of my weekend at Dijon and Nurburgring next week if the weather allows me to run.

Jeeze looking at these pictures makes me smile, I cant wait to get started on AutoX... I dont know much about the classes or w.e. but id like to start at the beginner level and work my way up. Plus idk what class id even be in, the rules seem confusing and plus with all my mods already on my car as well... lol im looking at it for fun and some experience behind the wheel. I plan to start/ sign up on SCCA.com etc in like a few months... wish me luck...

WTB, I think you're fine for STX, if a bit underprepped. Your first season is a wash anyway, just run in Novice class until you get kicked out One local club out here lets you run in Novice your whole first season... unless you're me. I got kicked out for my last event of the year for winning by too much at the event before.

 

STX ehh from what ive read STX class seems intense... lol not to meantion I dont have a spare set of tires to put on for the events... I bought Goodyear Eagle GT's which are a "ultra" high performance all season tire, 400 treadwear rating. Doesnt seem too good for autox.

but then again I have alot to learn... First season would just be practice anyways... Slow in fast out, try to minimize tire squeal etc. Usually the guys that make the less noise are the fastest through the course. Time to put all my years of Gran Turismo to the test LOL wheres Alfy when we need him

And underprepped??? Jeeze what do I need to be "prepped"? heh only think I need to fully redo my suspension is sways with endlinks basically...

Hi. What is your tire/wheel size/offset combination? Any rubbing? What suspension mods? Thanks

 

Nice cars!!! What is your experience with the 18 x 9.5 (+45) and tire size regarding rubbing or fender issues. I'm going to race my 8 in solo/autocross events but only with RB sway bars, no other mod in this area.
