How fast is the 4 port AT in the 1/4 mile?
Well I have an answer,, But this time is not on a stock 4 Port AT. It's on mine!
First off I'll give you all a run down of the mods done to my car.
Accessport! MM tune. Raised redline to 8250 rpm
BHR Yukon Coil kit
ZEX Nitrous Kit w/BHR throttle body spacer. 65 shot
AEM CAI
SR Motorsports catless midpipe
Mazdaspeed twin sport catback exhaust
Well it may not seem fast to all you 6 speed MT guy's but to me it was GREAT!
15.395 seconds in the quarter mile at 89.848 mph!!!
Which is .05 slower than Flashwings 6 Port 6 Speed MT. HA!
Let the flaming begin!

Thanks guy's. I still think I can improve upon that time too. It was a bit hot out, as in 93 degree's. And I know I need some new spark plugs for sure now. And a little more tuning of the Cobb AP wouldn't hurt.
As for the N2O, it comes on as soon as I hit max 67% on the Relative throttle Position reading on the AP Which is floored by the way. So the tires do a little spin and screech and she' of like a rocket. OK a small not very powerful rocket. But needless to say, how many 4 Ports can spin the tires from a dead stop!?

15.395 is pretty quick stand still Automatic car. how did you take off Easy E1,
how do do low 15's with dead stop i don't understand lol like do you rev it at nitural then slam it to drive or something ?
you have a massive disadvantage if you have a auto since you can't rev the motor then start, well you can if you want to blow up your trans

Sorry Erick, my math might have been a little off. My best time was a 15.305 @ 92ish mph. That was much cooler weather...around 65 degrees in the middle of December.
Regardless, Erick's time is fantastic. The RX8's in Arizona have seen under 15 seconds but with a heavy clutch and lightweight flywheel. Otherwise low 15's are the norm for 6 ports in this area. The fact that he's right on top of us is amazing!
Trust me, Erick is plenty fast and a very good driver. He doesn't need 6port power to spank other rotary cars around on the track. I've been chasing his times for the better part of 8 months now.
The POINT is the degree of difference those mods have made in his car. Imagine the time improvements on a N/A 6 port motor...that's the real story.
