Bushings for Stock class autox
Howdy,
So... Our CS RX-8 has 80k miles on it and is within shouting distance of being 10 years old.
What's the scoop with suspension bushings on these cars? Should I be thinking about possible replacement as PM? Can I change just the bushing, or do I need the whole arm or ?? Any bushings in particular take a beating?
Again, for Stock/Street class autox. Changing bushings to Poly or whatever isn't allowed.
Thanks!
Mark

Front, LCA bushings have separate part #s, available on mazdamotorsports. Front UCA, and rear links don't seem to. That also corresponds to my memory of removing all the bushings a few years ago, only the front LCAs could be pressed out/in. Others were bonded/glued.
FWIW, Although I replaced most with poly, I did find several bushings (75k miles) on the front and rear which had tearing, and would have undoubtedly benefitted from even stock replacement arm/bushings.

Howdy,
Thanks!
I'd looked at the parts diagram, but hadn't noticed the front LCA bushings were separate.
Any bushing in particular that were bad on your car?
I suppose I need to just stick the thing in the air and check them.
