What happened to the Golden Bros rx8? DNF? whats DNF?

 

DNF/Did Not Finish.
Not sure why at this point .It seems to be the Rolex Daytona Prototype Race coverage for the most part. They are leaving the GT's out of the pic.
As for the Porsche it hit a gaurd rail in the middle of the night and caused a red flg to repair the rail.

Goldin Bros were ultimately undone by either their throttle cable issues or severe transmission problems they were battling all night.

70 caught some bad luck on the last set of yellows that cost them track position. Also the radio in the car has been down for a few hours and the team is using hand signals to communicate.

69 is hanging in there pretty good after the cone through the radiator issue. It's been running like a top, but the 30 minutes they spent in the pits hurt them.

the car got hit in the middle of the night on restart, and it spun him in a 360, then another clipped the front-end. the driver managed to continue on and come for a quick tape job.

its towards the end, it'll be all DP from now on...

there might be problems with the leading porsche, if they're out, #70 needs to gain 1 more spot for podium finish. But its a stretch....

Randy Pobst is in to finish the race! I think they'll need to pit once more for fuel, i hope they turn up the RPM and turn up some fast laps!
